Special fires for special interiors - Suspended Fires
At Firemaker we specialize in the design and manufacture of suspended wood-burning stoves, whether it's a statement piece for a hotel reception or a focal point to snuggle up to in your own home. Our award-winning designers will help you specify the right fire and advise how best to incorporate it into your interior to get the greatest visual impact and wow your visitors.
With our support you’ll get a great result without the stress and guesswork. As well as design guidance we’ll help you through the practical side of things too. We can work with your builders, architects and interior designers to integrate a Firemaker creation into your renovation or building project.
Our range of floating stoves and fires includes the rotating FireBob, the FireEye, and the FireBlock. Our fires are solid, hand-built items, produced in our workshop in the Scottish Borders and shipped around the world.
What does the stove include?
Your stove will include a made-to-measure fixing bracket, a range of colour options, internal flue to suit the height of your room, and delivery, all for a fixed price agreed in advance. We can also supply the external flue and chimney components if required (your installer may wish to supply these).
Stove installation made simple
While we don't offer an installation service, we can consult with your builder, architect, or installer every step of the way to advise for safe and proper installation. We may also be able recommend a installer in your area. We will design and build a made-to-measure fixing bracket to suit your build, which is included in the price of every stove, so whether you want to fix your stove to your ceiling, roof structure or to be wall-mounted within your existing property or as part of a new build, we are at the end of the phone to help make it as simple as possible for you.
Installation and design variations
We can manufacture freestanding and wall mounted versions of the suspended fires too. Sometimes it isn’t feasible to take a flue directly upwards through the ceiling and so we have solutions to enable the flue to be taken out through a wall. Whatever your building configuration, contact us with details of the property and we’ll see what is feasible.
